The Director of Content Strategy is the gatekeeper to all written content and loves to be challenged by delivering relevant, value-driven messages that engage a wide variety of CaseIT 2023 stakeholders. This individual is professional, creative, original, and articulate in being the primary voice of CaseIT’s 20th Anniversary, and ensures that all written content delivers a consistent experience to external audience members through digital and physical capacities. Passionate for thinking outside of the box, they are integral to building professionalism and anticipation around the CaseIT brand, and maintaining a connection with global students competitors, and universities as they diligently prepare for competition week.

Commitment required:

  • Term duration is from June 2022 to June 2023
  • Must attend the CaseIT 2023 Onboarding on June 23, 2022 from 7-8 PM
  • Must attend CaseIT 2022 Organizing Committee, & Portfolio Meetings (2-3 hours per week) from June 2022 to March 2023
  • Attendance mandatory during CaseIT 2023 Competition Week from February 20-25, 2023

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop all CaseIT and PIVOT competitor-facing written materials, including welcome packages, participants’ packages, and blog posts
  • Lead the delivery of a cohesive brand message for CaseIT and PIVOT across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Manage and streamline efforts among the Organizing Committee to maintain brand continuity through approving the design of internal and external competition documentation 
  • Develop and execute campaigns that share the excitement of all stakeholders, including CaseIT competitors, sponsors, Team Hosts, Organizing Committee, and more
  • Utilize marketing analytics to ensure each content conveys a sense of purpose and precision to derive key insights and strategize to grow CaseIT’s online presence 
  • Ensure that all pertinent competition information is easy-to-access through social media channels, including competition schedules and presentation results
  • Manage communications and developing written content on social media channels to capture the anticipation, intensity, and celebrations during competition week
  • Support PIVOT on several marketing assets and deliverables

  • Outstanding ability to communicate clear, concise, and clever and professional messaging
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills in a high pressured environment
  • Curious about new approaches to online content strategy and print marketing by building creative formats for communication
  • Passion for creating engaging, innovative, and inspirational content 
  • Passion and curiosity for analytics and social media marketing initiatives
